Overview
Successor to ChatGPT Images 2.0 with more natural lighting, richer textures, better subject preservation from reference photos and more reliable multi-turn editing, at up to 50% lower latency. Ships in the API as two models at the same price: GPT-Image-2.5 Flare, the default, and GPT-Image-2.5 Sunburst, slower and aimed at tightly controlled production edits. In ChatGPT it adds @Sketch drawing input, templates and comment-based editing for all tiers.
