Overview
Successor to MAI-Image-2.6 in Microsoft's in-house MAI image family, released in preview as an image-editing model: restyling and relighting scenes, editing text and symbols in place, and restoring or enhancing existing images. At launch it is usable in MAI Playground and on the Arena and Artificial Analysis editing boards; text-to-image generation is announced as coming later, and no Foundry API endpoint has been announced yet.
