Successor to MAI-Image-2.5 in Microsoft's in-house MAI image family, with improved text rendering, portraits, 3D imagery and reference-image support. Released in public preview in Microsoft Foundry together with MAI-Image-2.6-Flash, a faster, cheaper variant that is not tracked separately here.
